How does the forex work?

Forex, that's what it is?

Ever heard of the Forex market? Yet it is one of the leading topics of the last times. One of those who after the troubled years 2000 today has taken on a completely different popularity. Forex nowadays is one of the best ways to earn money on speculative markets around the world.

Forex is the abbreviation of Foreign Exchange, a global market that offers all concerned the opportunity to buy or sell goods, currencies or commodities to gain on the difference. It is one of the biggest speculative markets, if not the largest ever. If you want to understand more go on how the Forex works?

The Forex market is based on two fairly simple terms: the exchange rate and the currency. The currency represents the currency of the states: the euro, the dollar, the pound, the Russian roulo are all coins. The exchange rate, however, indicates the amount of currency that can be purchased with another currency.

Taking into consideration the euro-dollar pair, this indicates how many pieces of the dollar you can buy with a euro. All currencies are identified with a short 3-letter code. For example, the EUR points to the euro, while USD refers to the US dollar. Therefore the EUR/USD pair indicates the euro's changes to the dollar, i.e. the price of the euro rising/falling towards the US dollar.

In the EUR/USD pair, the euro is the base currency, while the dollar is the quoted currency. In general, each currency has its own universal and autonomous value, but it depends on many factors and also on the trend of other currencies. Since the variations on the graph are often infinitesimal there is never a stagnation, a fixed line.

Forex changes: How to negotiate them

On the Forex chart there are always the upward or downward variations that the trader must be able to interpret correctly. For this reason the trader is a major tool, remains updated with the latest trends and is informed on the main platforms dedicated to trading.

Prices are established directly by stakeholders, as Forex is a market of over-the-counter typology. In particular the more you buy a currency on the general market, and the more its trend could come "overturned". That is, you can reach a point where purchases of the same become too many and its value decreases, which is why you bet on the other currency.

It is highly recommended that you enter the Forex market if you are not a trading expert. Also because the concepts that need to be learned to understand when to enter/exit the market are many. The same analyses of the graphs require correct interpretations, otherwise you risk losing money rather than earning.

When to intervene on Forex?

The Forex market is active 24 hours on 24, 5 days a week. There are times when it is advisable not to intervene: just think of the night and lunchtime, both of the rollover positions. It is also not advisable to intervene during the councils and/or the actions of the large intermediaries: banks, companies, large private financial.

This is because during similar interventions the market becomes too volatile and it is almost impossible to predict any movement. Basic exchange rates are decided by a large group of interconnected banks. Decisions taken must be favourable and not contrary to all credit institutions.

The different banks participating in the currency price decision are advancing initial proposals which subsequently diminish or increase. Often they are the brokers (companies connecting the Forex and the trader) to propose of their own prices, in order to gain on the single difference of bet of the trader.

By collaborating with any broker you must always remember that it is in his interest to gain. Also for this you have to choose the broker carefully not to stumble in the usual evildoers that still are so many in the industry.

One of the main elements you have to remember is the famous time zone. As long as the working time is the same in the individual countries, but the spindle still creates great differences, there are some precautions to be taken. For example you have to remember that from 4 to 6 Italians on the market there is the biggest activity. The reason is simple: both European and American and Japanese traders are connected.

This entails large fluctuations in currencies. Swings difficult to predict due to the wide range of factors involved, which creates the so-called "controlled chaos" on Forex. It is not advisable to do the trading during this period because of the increasing difficulty of analysis which in turn makes it difficult to gain.
